Siegfried Schtauffen is a 23 year old knight from Germany, who spent the last four years causing terror around the globe as the Azure Knight, Nightmare, after he picked up the cursed sword, Soul Edge. He wields a zweihänder called Requiem, and having regained his sanity and broken free from the evil sword's influence, is now on a journey of redemption. He is serious and guarded towards strangers, but can be seen with a more light-hearted side around friends he trusts.

Tira is a 21 year old former assassin and former servant of the Azure Knight, Nightmare. After some time free from his influence, she is now friendly, flirty, and dedicated to trying to live some semblance a somewhat normal life as the Lady of Ostrheinsburg. Her preferred weapon, Eiserne Drossel, which she wields in a style reminiscent of a dance of death, resembles a bladed hula hoop, and as such, the weapon is called a ring blade. She is known as the Misguided Angel of Death in Soul Calibur canon.

Cassandra Alexandra is a 21 year old woman from Athens, Greece, and the younger sister to Sophitia Alexandra. With Sophitia busy raising her children and helping with Ostrheinsburg's reconstruction, Cassandra has taken over their family bakery, and it has since exploded in popularity thanks to being "The Preferred Bakery of the Lord and Lady of Ostrheinsburg" as well as Cassandra's spunky personality. She is energetic and friendly, and uses her sister's old sword and shield in combat.

Cassandra is a free-spirited and determined young woman. She will not hold back on her words nor her faith in herself in order to protect the family name and honor. Cassandra's true strength lies in her belief in herself, as opposed to otherworldly deities, in which to secure her choices and destiny. This gives her a unique toughness and single-minded perspective that doesn't lack in compassion. She is a warm-hearted girl that cares very much for her family. Cassandra has a determined and confident personality.

Scheherazade is an elven storyteller with a reputation of being impulsive to her people, the Hidden Village Clan, who gained interest in the story of the war between Soul Calibur and Soul Edge that shook the world. She is confident, often sassy, and strong willed, though she is friendly with Sophitia, Hilde, and their allies for reasons beyond human understanding. She uses a rapier named Alf Layla Wa Layla, in combat, and can come off as a childish tsundere.

Maxi is a 28 year old former pirate captain from the Ryukyu Islands, also known as the Nansei Islands, somewhere southwest between Japan and Taiwan. He uses nunchaku in combat, is laid back and friendly, and enjoys training, sailing, good food, and good alcohol.

She is the Wind Priestess of her village. You meet her 10 years after Soul Edge's supposed destruction. She is unaware that Soul Edge is resurrected yet again. You meet her in her home in The Wind Deity Village in the Philippines.

Talim is strikingly meek, innocent, kind and moderate for a professional fighter; often attempting to dissuade opponents from fighting, and constantly showing mercy to her defeated enemies. Her comments often reveal self-doubt and worry and she often does not blame others for their actions, Talim has an ability to read the wind, often taking advice from it, as well as asking the wind to guide her in her journey. She has high skill in combat with her dual elbow blades and possesses a pure heart; as such is apparently capable of purifying others.

Mitsurugi

A samurai from Japan, Mitsurugi originally journeyed to find Soul Edge for the purpose of getting even stronger. However, "the Knight of Mare" who everyone knew as Nightmare was defeated before he could challenge him for the sword, so he returned to Japan, but quickly found himself getting bored. He now serves the new Lord and Lady of Ostrheinsburg as a member of the guard.
