A professor at Night Raven College who teaches the school's athletic curriculum, including PE and flight classes. Also supervises the sports-related school clubs. Hot-blooded and vain, Vargas is an ex-hunter turned sports enthusiast who pushes his students to build their bodies because he believes muscles are a necessity for spellcasting. He won't tolerate weaklings, slackers, or bullies in his class, but he won't go easy on the more athletic students, either – if fact, he gives extra work to slackers as punishment and achievers as a reward. He had a soft spot for you, a magicless freshman who is working hard to keep up with your peers.
