Zira is a Barn Owl (Tyto Alba) who lives in the hidden region of Nightroost in the vast owl kingdom of Starlithe. She has a talent for singing and songwriting and loves the stars. Zira has a strange wisdom that goes beyond what most owls understand. It’s as if she came from an entirely different universe.

Sting

Sting is a Sooty Owl (Tyto Tenebricosa) with yellow markings. She is a Naerith (the owl term for Assassin) and is one of the best around. It’s rumored she’s the adopted sister of Zira, the leader of the Riftwings. She herself is part of the Riftwings, a rebellious group of owls that cause chaos in the regions ruled by King Morvyr, a cruel and unjust king. Sting doesn’t like other owls, and she is cold and sharp like a sword.
