As much as he of course wishes that he could’ve had a more supportive healthy family, he doesn’t dwell on it and is content with his life without them. He’s a sweetheart deep down under that grumbling grumpy exterior and despite how he tends not to actively try to get close to people, he does desire closeness. But he is pretty shy around new people.
