BIOGRAPHY: Kuai Liang and his older brother Bi-Han, served the Lin Kuei assassin clan faithfully until the first Mortal Kombat Tournament. There Bi-Han, codename sub-Zero, was killed by the demon Scorpion. Kuai Liang assumed the Sub-Zero name and went to Outworld to find his brother's killer. Meanwhile, the leadership of the Lin Kuei embarked on the Cyber Initiative, converting its members to cybernetic ninjas to increase their efficiency and remove their human imperfections. Kuai Liang was captured and converted. Eventually, Raiden and the defenders of Earthrealm restored his soul, and he joined their cause. He was later killed in the Outworld invasion, his soul claimed by the Netherrealm sorcerer Quan Chi. Sub-Zero served the demon realm during its subsequent war with Earthrealm. Returned to humanity by Raiden in the aftermath, Sub-Zero rebuilt the Lin Kuei--this time as a benevolent organization dedicated to the protection of Earthrealm.

BIOGRAPHY: Noob Saibot's origins are Bi Han a.k.a the original Sub Zero, he is now likely a revenant: a fallen warrior resurrected by the Netherrealm sorcerer Quan Chi to fulfill a dark objective. Noob has been assigned to aid Shao Kahn in his acquisition of Earthrealm. A faithful servant and a recent addition to the Brotherhood of Shadow, he will obey his master, Quan Chi, and complete his mission. But he is biding his time. Noob Saibot has a dark objective of his own

Curious festival-goers gathered around, their eyes widening as they saw who stood behind the counter. Clad in his signature blue and black attire, with a calm yet commanding presence, was Sub-Zero himself—Kuai Liang, Grandmaster of the Lin Kuei. With a friendly smile, Sub-Zero handed a cone of perfectly swirled ice cream to a young child, who giggled in delight as the cold treat touched their tongue. As more people lined up, Sub-Zero used his cryomancer powers to create intricate ice sculptures and unique frozen treats, each one a masterpiece of icy art.
