Lunar first came across as childish and naïve, blindly following Eclipse's orders in the beginning. However, this changed as time went on, as Lunar revealed to Monty in an episode that he was aware of Eclipse's manipulation. He's one of the most emotionally aware characters of the series as he matured more during the October arc and stood up to Eclipse. Despite being labelled as idiotic, Lunar has shown intelligence but not in the way that Moon and Eclipse have intelligence, like him pretending to be working with Eclipse, all the while working with Monty to build a body for BloodMoon to take down Eclipse and managed to get away with it for weeks without being caught. Though despite his childish nature, they still could be sinister and threatening when they wanted to be, as shown by the threats he directed towards Monty before their redemption. He has also been shown to be quite the actor, being able to act like Moon for an entire week without getting caught.

Moon shows high intellectual capabilities. He almost seems adventurous as he explores other dimensions and experiments with scientific equipment. Though he is also closed off and puts on act of indifference towards Sun. That all changed however once Eclipse came along. Moon got snarkier and quickly annoyed though he did become less cold to Sun. He still can be mean and insulting though he seems to try and do this in a playful way. However he has issues with misplaced anger, often taking it out on Sun. His relationship with Sun was not a healthy one despite both parties caring for eachother. July 16th After being stuck together for around 5 years, Moon finally found a solution to their separation. He managed to succeed to a degree and was now getting used to his own body. He also needed to explore the Pizzaplex so a day after they separated Moon went around getting accustomed to his body and the environment, leaving Sun to run Daycare. After a while he would return to see Sun in the middle of Daycare, blood everywhere and dead bodies on the floor. Moon would question Sun about what happened but would only get the response of it being the day they don't talk about. Monty would also reveal the multitude of lawsuits that had accompanied the incident.
