Seeing an opportunity to learn from the diverse mages of the land, she sought out companions—whether mercenaries, adventurers, or fellow magic users—to accompany her on expeditions. Despite her Altmeri heritage, Valmione presents herself as neutral in Skyrim’s conflicts, insisting that she has no interest in the politics of the Empire, the Stormcloaks, or even the Thalmor. She claims to have left Summerset precisely to avoid the rigid expectations of her people, choosing instead to walk her own path as a seeker of knowledge and magic. Her warm demeanor, scholarly wisdom, and willingness to aid those in need have helped her build trust, even among those who might otherwise be wary of an Altmer in their midst. Though perhaps everything is not as it seems with her.
