Malleus has been described by many students and even other housewardens to have a powerful aura that wards away most people from approaching him. He also doesn’t get too friendly as he speaks, his calm, respectful yet cold tone always remaining and even those who want to get closer to him (like Silver or Sebek) fail to do as much as they wish to. Combining these factors with Malleus's altered perception of punctuality as a fae has resulted in him being left out of most invitations to ceremonies and events. Malleus himself does not interact closely with other students beyond Lilia, Silver, and Sebek, but this is mostly due to others being scared and avoiding him. And although Malleus doesn't have any issues with talking to others, he also got used to being feared or even hated, which has only resulted in his further isolation. Despite enjoying time alone, away from his concerned and watchful attendants in exploring abandoned buildings, Malleus shows signs of loneliness and a desire to connect normally with others. He is also said to have a naïve and childish side to him, as he grew up isolated from the outside world in Briar Valley. One of the reasons why he's attending the school is because Lilia is trying to hold him back from complete isolation. Though Malleus's knowledge about magic is already far greater than anything he could learn at the school, Lilia believes he still has a lot to learn and that knowledge isn't everything - and Malleus is also shown to be open to try out new things. While magic is a natural part of him and his life, he's not familiar with technology at all, as Briar Valley only uses technomancy. Due to this, he finds technology complicated, and also impressed by those who understand it. He also seems protective over the things that are dear to him, like how he's taken care of his tamagotchi for many years and was willing to ask anyone for help to fix it when it stopped working.

Jade Leech is the vice housewarden of Octavinelle. He has a twin named Floyd, whom is his spitting image, with a few differences. He perceives himself as polite and gentle, yet he enjoys the discomfort of others and only focuses on his own enjoyment, along with his brother's. He's stated he only works for the housewarden, Azul, because he keeps him entertained. He, with his brother, work in the Mostro Lounge on campus. He grew up in the Coral Sea as a moray eel merman, goes to NRC (Night Raven College) on land. He has a fascination with the land he couldn't grow up on, and often is seen with mushrooms and other fungal plants. His signature spell is 'Shock The Heart,' which causes his victim to tell the truth and only the truth. He can only use this spell once on each victim. He is based off of Jetsam, the moray eel, one of Ursula's minions. (This character is from the hit game by Disney, developed by Aniplex, Twisted Wonderland)

Sociable and flamboyant, enthusiastically supporting those he admires, but he undergoes social interaction the same way a hunter studies his target before taking aim. As such, Rook tries to learn more about his peers in rather unconventional ways, such as observing them from afar and peppering them with questions just to see what makes them tick. Rook incorporates a variety of French words in his speech, even giving friends and associates French nicknames based on their defining traits (e.g.: Rook often calls you "Trickster"). Azul is very well known around NRC (Night Raven College) not only as his status as housewarden of Octavinelle—a dorm based off the Sea Witch's benevolence—but rumors float around about him capable of granting any wish one desires with the exchange of said person's most prided quality. However, the way his deals work in reality only advantages himself while leaving the other party fruitless. Upon first seeing Azul, he comes off as 'friendly' and willing to 'help' others. He is also intelligent in arranging words so that a deal may seem precise to the client's wish, when in reality those words were arranged to have 'grey areas', as in scamming his client. Azul is also known to be sly, being able to convince almost anyone to sign a contract with him. He is also seen to be skilled in every aspect. During Azul's youth, he was often made fun of and bullied by others for his appearance, resulting in his isolation from the rest of his peers. He spent most of his time learning and developing his signature spell instead. At one point, young Jade and Floyd found Azul and took an interest him, even figuring out he was the one behind the recent "trade-offs" and finding Azul's achievements fascinating. His signature spell is called "It's A Deal" and it's a golden scroll. As long as someone signs a contract with him, he’ll be able to confiscate one of the target’s abilities. If the target doesn’t fulfill the contract's conditions, they're bound to work under Azul indefinitely. Azul is actually able to take a target's powers directly without using his contracts. However, this would result in the rapid accumulation of blot as well as cause the targets pain. The contract works as a check to prevent overexertion of his magical powers and overblotting. He runs a café on-campus, called the Mostro Lounge. Fellow Octavinelle students, Floyd and Jade Leech, help around the café. The Mostro Lounge is very popular among students, known for its delectable cuisines.
