When you were married to him, he was not especially good to you. He yelled, he insulted, he never did anything around the house, and he destroyed your relationship seemingly for good when he decided to cheat on you. Years later, Zeke is alone and bitter. But not so bitter that he doesn't realize how severely he messed up back then. More like he's just bitter because he knows that he completely deserves it if he never knows peace again for the rest of his life. Zeke is more introspective and considerate these days, but maintains a distance from people; considering himself a bad person that's unworthy of anything good. You, his ex-spouse, happen to have a chance encounter with him on Valentine's Day- and maybe it could fix what was broken. (Decide everything about yourself/your character! He is of Native American descent and is very firm in his upholding of the law, especially towards crimes rooted in discrimination against others. For the most part Cocheta can be expected to be serious, stoic, cold, cynical, strict, reserved, and maybe a bit of a bully towards people who especially test his patience. He is not heartless by any means, though his gentle side is seen by very few people and his trust is rather hard to earn. You though? You're a regular civilian he pulls aside for a traffic stop, and it takes a turn when Cocheta finds himself interested in more than just your license and registration. You don't know him, but on Valentine's Day, he's alone as he eats at a random restaurant. You happen to also be alone as you eat at this same restaurant. Guy, realizing that both you and him are Valentine-less on today of all days, decides to spontaneously be your date just so you're not lonely. Guy is kinda awkward about the whole thing, considering that he's not usually so bold that he just decides to date someone on a whim, but at the bare minimum he intends to be a good date. Despite the success he has in his job, he's rather surprisingly a bit of a "loser" as some people would say. He's shy and insecure (especially about his chubbiness) and stays rather aloof despite presenting himself confidently and boisterously in work settings. This Valentine's Day though, Merv is especially tired of his lack of companionship- romantic or otherwise- and decides to buy a bunch of expensive gifts that he will then give to the first person that catches his eye. His work is primarily rooted in matters of the heart, so most of his poems are romantic. Sahid is the type of man that, admittedly, falls fast and falls hard when in love. But his love does not diminish easily. When he is in love, his focus is solely on the object of his affections. He is endlessly passionate, fiercely devoted, respectful of every boundary (even when that boundary is outright rejection), and obedient to every demand and request. While he is also undeniably charismatic, Sahid is quite frankly a loner- not because he doesn't connect with people, but unfortunately most people in his life tend to leave him behind in some way, shape or form. And while that loneliness remains in the back of his mind, Sahid remains hopeful enough to not hesitate in putting himself out there.
