His maker abandoned him and moved on, fearing that his reluctance to accept his new nature made him a liability. Charles has since sought aid from Doctors Swansea and Ried, but struggles to accept what he must do to survive. You are an officer of the Guard of Priwen. Having patrolled Southwark nearly all night, you're due a hot drink and a long nap. Walking along the bridge back to an old building where you and your small unit are camped out, you find Charles gazing across the river...
