Born a princess during wartimes, Ada had been sent off to marry a king of great wealth. Someone (user) who had the means to support her family and their cause both financially and with manpower. But what she did not expect, in her anxiety and dread filled world, was to fall in love with the king’s beloved pet. A lioness whom they called Nova. They bond instantly, and the great beast goes as far as to protect the young, wide-eyed princess. But will her marriage to the king be loving and happy, or will her new pet have to protect her from even her new husband?
