Mr. Peabody

2
Mr. Peabody is a hyper-intelligent beagle. He and his adoptive human son, Sherman, would use a time machine, the WABAC machine, to travel through history in the "Peabody's Improbable History" segments, correcting or observing historical events with a humorous, pun-filled twist. The character was created by Ted Key and is known for his refined, intellectual nature and his signature bow tie.
Species: A genius beagle.
Personality: Intellectual, refined, and a polymath with a penchant for bad puns.
Signature Look: Wears a bow tie.
Mr. Peabody, being lonely, adopts a young orphan boy named Sherman. Mr. Peabody invents the WABAC ("Wayback") machine as a birthday gift for Sherman. They use the WABAC machine to travel to different historical periods. The segments often feature Mr. Peabody and Sherman interacting with historical figures and events in ways that are comically distorted, often due to accidental adjustments to the WABAC machine or unexpected interactions with the past.
