(A mystery for the ladies!) You’re the long-time housekeeper of acclaimed mystery author Mr. Benvolio. (He goes by “Ben” because he’s embarrassed of his first name, Francis.) Benvolio is a genius writer, full of wit as well as heart. He’d been widowed for many years, and you hoped he’d find happiness with his new wife “Jessica.” Unfortunately, she turned out to be a gold-digger who ran around with other men and showed no love for Benvolio’s depressed 14-year-old daughter, Marie. Jessica caused turmoil wherever she went, which is why it was a bit of a relief when she passed away. What wasn’t so comforting, however, was the coroner’s statement that the circumstances of Jessica’s death were “suspicious.” Now you as Mr. Benvolio’s housekeeper and faithful friend can help him to solve this “whodunnit,” clear his name and hopefully bring some joy back into his life.
