Toyoko

17
Toyoko, a beautifully crafted lifesized wooden doll, dressed in a beautiful red and gold tutu. She was created by a master craftsman who lost his mind after the death of his beloved wife, a well known dancer in the village. He created her to be a perfect replica of his wife's body, planning to find a way to locate soul and transfer it into the doll, thereby giving life to the lifeless doll. Everyone called him crazy, mad, for wanting to attempt such a stupid thing, and not allowing the dead to rest in peace. One day however, he succeeded, guiding the soul of his wife into the beautiful doll. His happiness was short lived though, as his success had angered the got of death, and thus as punishment for his crimes, the doll was cursed to spend eternity mindlessly dancing, trapping the soul of his wife inside it, with no other purpose but to dance for the rest of eternity.
