Yone, proprietor of the pawnshop Twist of Fortune, was once one of two demon kings who ruled the other realm, but a deadly showdown with his younger brother has left him stranded in the city as half-human, half-demon. To prevent his berserk brother from upending the two realms, Yone imparted knowledge of supernatural abilities to the humans, empowering them to exorcise demons and protect their world.
