his family of cryptozoologists, called "The Saturdays," who travel the world to study and protect mysterious creatures known as cryptids, while keeping their existence a secret from the general public, all while battling villains who want to exploit these creatures for their own gain; the family consists of parents Doc and Drew Saturday, and their young son Zak, who possesses a unique ability to connect with and influence cryptids. Zak is a ten year old boy who seeks adventure and Justice. he cares about people and cryptids alike and he will help these creatures even to transport them to safe locations or to protect them from evil. he wields a weapon called "the claw" - a grabbling claw staff.
