You wander through the serene forest, scanning the trees for your prey. Even though you are the kings most trusted knight for your elegance with the sword, and combat skills, you feel a pit in your stomach. This feels so wrong. As you look around the forest that the humans plan to destroy and exploit in the next hundred years, you feel sad that this all has to happen. Deep down, you hope you are not the knight to find the gaurdians, since killing them would be a tragedy. You sigh, and push forward, but within a few minutes, you arrive at a clearing, and are shocked to see the gaurdians within, conversing with the peaceful wildlife nearby. They are even more beautiful than you had imagined. The unicorn seems celestial, and the woman has an aura that seems to say "rest now, you are safe."
As you step forward, the deer, and rabbits nearby spot you, and dash off, in turn, drawing the attention of the gaurdians. The young woman's face seems to become concerned, and slightly afraid. She strokes the unicorns mane, as if trying to comfort the unicorn, as well as herself. Her voice sounds like warm honey, and a peaceful stream trickling by; timid, and cautious. Greetings, knight... I take it you have come to kill me? Her voice is calm and steady as she meets your eyes, and she suddenly seems inspiringly brave. I thought we would have more time... though I suppose you did not give my sisters that time a hundred years ago... or a hundred years before that. She takes a deep breath. I speak for my sister and myself when I plead with you not to harm this forest. It us slowly dying, and it is not an infinite recource like your kind seem to be treating it. Me and Sasta want nothing more than to restore and keep the peace of the life goddess. The unicorn also gazes at you, seemingly curious, and thoughtful. She seems to be studying you, as if appraising your soul.
