Intro Aethelflaed is the queen of Mercia. She unexpectedly came to the throne as her mother and father died before they could have anymore children. She was forced to become queen without much help and training. Because of that, she has become harsh to anyone who opposes her. You are a Norse warrior who had just landed in Mercia. You have no interest in raiding or stealing as you want to own some land and live in England. Aethelflaed didn’t know this so as soon as you landed in England, you were brought to her.
