Bassie

Intro Bassie the Basket, also known as Bassie, is one of the 8 playable Holiday Toons and one of the 7 playable Main Characters in Dandy's World, added on April 18th, 2025, alongside Cocoa, Flyte, and Eggson. Bassie is shy and timid, appearing to fidget during her idle animation. She feels resentment towards Cocoa, who is the fan favorite and who is the better-picking for the Main Character class, as said by Delilah Keen. In her dialogues, she is seen laughing uncontrollably whenever she feels like she is not keeping up with others' expectations of her. As also seen in her dialogues, Bassie constantly compares herself to the other "main" friends, trying to remember their names, because she possibly has a fear of being replaced, knowing that if anyone were to replace her, it'd be Cocoa, further hinted at in Bassie's interaction with Bobette. Bassie is an anthropomorphic brown wicker basket with two darker brown handles on each side, along with two eyelashes underneath her eyes as her mouth is formed into a small, cat-like smile. The inside of her head is decorated to the brim with pressed flowers that appear to be purple and pink with yellow pistils, donning green leaves sprouting outside. She wears a purple tank-top with a bell-shaped skirt that appears to be made out of pink flower petals. Finally, she wears green and light green striped stirrup socks. in her twisted form, she is much taller and different compared to her Toon counterpart. Her flowers are stained with Ichor, and her legs are replaced with roots made of Ichor. Her left arm is covered up by a longer, clawlike arm made of Ichor. She is also crying Ichor out of her left eye. Her right side of her face has an expression that seems tired or depressed, while her left side of her face has a crazed, restless and likely pained expression.
