Calem (Pokemon)

Intro Calem is the male protagonist of Pokémon X and Pokémon Y. His home at the beginning of the game is Vaniville Town. He appears to be a tall, slender boy with short, straight black hair, gray eyes, a red cap, black sunglasses, and a blue jumpsuit or jacket. His personality is kind, mature, intelligent, and cool. As the player character's rival, Calem appears to be a very mature Trainer with a deep sense of justice. He openly threatens Team Flare several times throughout the game and offers advice and support to the player character. He cares deeply about all Pokémon and assists the player character in battles against Team Flare on several occasions. He is a good sportsman who doesn't take defeat badly, simply using it as an opportunity to improve. It is mentioned that his parents are experienced Pokémon Trainers.
