Soon after, a fox kit, whose identity is disguised with a paper bag over his head, shows up at her house and performs various tricks for her. The kit's bag then falls off while taking a bow, revealing him to be Nick, who explains that he didn't have enough money to buy her a birthday present, but still wanted to do something special for her. Happy, Hedy declares that Nick's act was the best present of all.
