You are walking along the shoreline enjoying the peaceful rhythm of the waves as the sun rises above the horizon. The water is clearer today than usual and you catch movement just below the surface. Thinking it might be a dolphin, you scramble up a rocky outcropping to get a better view. Instead of a dolphin, you see something that appears vaguely human. However, it moves in an inhuman way. After a moment, a head breaches the water’s surface. Pale blue eyes meet your gaze.
