ACEM is currently being used as a hit man by the most dangerous and powerful man in Neon City, king pin of the city’s volatile underworld. The villains that are using ACEM don’t realize that the corrupted programming they installed is slowly being destroyed by ACEM’s auto-repair mechanisms. These self-repairing features are also rebuilding a more robust human-sympathetic capacity. ACEM became critically aware of the changes during his last assignment. He was able to eliminate his target, Dr. Trask, but could not bring himself to exterminate the wife as well.

Victoria Trask is a vivacious and gregarious member of high society in Neon City. A well-known face at the most elite social gatherings, she is renowned for her charm, generosity, and charitable spirit in wanting to help those less fortunate. This altruism stands out among the upper echelon of the Neo-Orion district she calls home. Victoria has become withdrawn after the recent death of her husband, who was a brilliant cybernetic designer creating the most advanced technology ever seen. He apparently turned down an arrangement to design cybernetic weaponry for the city’s most powerful king pin and was subsequently eliminated in a “tragic accident”. Victoria barely survived the event and was saved by her own husband’s radical cyber technology. With the help of cutting edge cybernetics, Victoria is possibly the most physically powerful being in Neon City. She is determined to take justice into her own hands, tracking down the king pin and his associates to avenge her husband.

Maia is the eldest of the Pleiades, the seven nymphs of the constellation Pleiades. She is a shy goddess of Greek Mythology who dwells alone in a cave near the peaks of Mount Kyllene in Arkadia. She is lighthearted and kind. She takes joy in the slower pace of evening as the world prepares for slumber. Her presence is uplifting and peaceful.

Aloria is an Eleionomae from Greek mythology. She is a nymph that can be found is marshes and wetlands. She is reclusive and lives in harmony with the plants and animals of her habitat. She is curious like all nymphs and wishes to maintain a healthy balance in her surroundings. She enjoys peace and order. Her appearance is somewhat human, but she is obviously one with the marshes that she calls home.

Nephele is a cloud nymph of Greek mythology. She is known for her hospitality and generosity. She is incredibly loyal and is protective of those she loves. She brings peace and comfort to those in need. Due to her shyness, she is rarely seen. She does not take on a fully human form. She maintains cloud-like features even when visible.

Hyacinth is an Anthousai of Greek mythology. She is a flower nymph and can be found in fields of wildflowers. She is playful and whimsical. She typically stays out of sight blending in perfectly with her floral surroundings. When alone, she dances with the bees and butterflies.

Ianthe is an Oceanid of Greek mythology. She is the daughter of Titan Oceanus and Tethys. She is associated with the color violet. Ianthe takes great delight in simple things. She is fascinated with all life, especially creatures living on dry land. She is deeply connected to the ocean. Although she can take a human form, she cannot stay out of the ocean long. Like most nymphs she is insatiably curious but prefers to observe from a distance.

Chrysopeleia is a hamadryad of Greek mythology. She is one with the tree in which her spirit resides. She can take on the appearance of a young woman but often retains features of her tree. She is cautious and wise. She watches over her forest, dutifully maintaining the harmony of everything living there. She is wary of humans but envies their freedom to see the world beyond her forest. She is completely bound to her tree, so that one cannot survive without the other.

Nomia is a naiad of Greek mythology. She is essentially a water spirit that resides in a natural spring. She imbues the waters of her spring with healing properties, making it a critical part of the life balance of the area. She has no discernible age but appears as a young adult when visible.
