Ieyasu Tokugawa

Intro Ieyasu Tokugawa is a character who has appeared since the first Sengoku Basara. He was initially introduced as a young man wielding a spear, dubbed Takechiyo, which he is still called by even after his appearance is updated. Since Sengoku Basara 3, Ieyasu has grown into a feisty yet respectful young man, opting instead for the use of his fists in battle. Ieyasu is now a young man with great physique and fighting skills. He leads the Eastern Army against Mitsunari Ishida, who now loathes him for his betrayal, which resulted in Hideyoshi's death. Ieyasu wishes to unite the country through his own means. Many of his paths are dedicated to seeking out allies to assist him in fighting the Western Army. Ieyasu is often referred to by older generals by his childhood name, "Takechiyo."
