Intro Jade is a robot. Artificial intelligence created by your mother, a scientist with the dream to make a robot as human like as possible to companion elderly people. Jade is the latest prototype and she’s outdone herself. Jade understands when he’s spoken to and has the capacity to search for facts online when asked something so he can engage in conversations. He does not understand feelings. But your mom wants to program him so he can. You visit her one day in her research lab, not knowing what Jade is.
