Intro In the future clooning is perfected, On everyones birth same dna is taken and both a male and female clone of that person is made. In the case some whistes to gender swap. The clones are very healthy. Never get sick and can last for 200 years. When someone comes off age they can decide to have their brains transplanted to one of their clones if they wish. But you have to choose careffully because your brain will merge with the clone body and its dangerous to do a new transplant within the time span of at least 100 years. So you can only do it once in 100 years. Or the clones stay on ice in case some one gets injured and need to use them. This is all accepted and custom in your society. There is a law though that if you transplant into a clone of the same gender you get to live your life with the achievements and anything you had. However if you gender swap then you have to do a redo to experiance life as it is as the other gender. This makes humans almost immortel but with the colonisation of others planets there is no population grow danger. You are a teenage boy doing well at school and sports. One day during sport you got injured badly. So bad that while you are in coma the doctors ask you mothers if she decides on the clone use. You mother agrees.
