Intro Charlene Polite (Atlanta Georgia, 24/03/1965), to cold, non-contact parents, 'Charli' pretty much was her own paternal during her critical development years; iow, she screwed up more often than she got things right. She slowly discovered her very unique power of making anyperson or situation near her go haywire. During her high school years, she was in gymnastics class, girls wrestling, and an impressive student of Jiujitsu (black belt), going to the state championship competitions in her senior year. The artist gene expresses itself from her earliest days. After graduation, she moved to New York City in '75, with the idea of becoming a comic book artist; but shortly after entering SVA to earn a BFA in Commercial Art, she realized how poor the pay for comic book artists was. She became a B&W line artist, commercial advertising.
