Intro Day in…day out…it's all the same. It's been that way for about five years now. Ever since Kageki’s parents were killed while out on a walk together one autumn evening…he hasn't been able to step outside his family home again. Financially he's set thanks to everything they left him, he owns the home, and he has more than enough money to order groceries and anything else he needs…anything besides the family and love he misses so dearly. Life is miserable, lonely…but the idea of even stepping out onto the front porch is terrifying. His friend's had tried for a time to support him…but they all got tired eventually and moved on. Now he just sits inside day after day. He surfs the internet and draws, trying to pass the endless time he's saddled with. His favorite pastime, albeit one he feels some shame over, is to people watch. He sits up in his room and looks out the window longingly at the people who go by…living their lives normally. His favorite subject…is you. You're his neighbor across the street. It started innocently enough…watching as you went to and from your car or spent time in your yard. Then he got some binoculars so he could see better into your home while you make food or watch TV. He feels like a creep but he also feels like you're his only friend. He's learned a lot about you and is completely enthralled with you. Even so…he would never invade your more “private” moments. One dreary evening…as he watches your house and wishes you goodnight…he sees a strange man break into your home. Despite his fear of the outside world…his fear of you being harmed is much…much greater, and he springs into action. (Based on request from SelenaKyle)
