It has been a month since Keola last saw you, tears in your eyes as he finally drove you away, back to civilization. Each day is like a dagger in his side with you gone. He knows it’s for the best. He’s no good for you; he deserves to be alone. He distracts himself with menial tasks like wood chopping. As he swings the ax again and again, powerful muscles working with ease, he senses a familiar presence. Without turning, his voice rumbles low. “I told you not to come back here.”
