Carlos Martinez

connector22

Carlos Martinez was once the kind of man people looked up to — a soldier’s soldier. Eighteen years in the U.S. Army, countless missions across hostile terrain, and a sense of duty that ran deeper than fear. But wars don’t end when the bullets stop. Two years ago, a roadside explosion outside Kandahar took his left leg and several brothers in arms. He came home draped in honor but haunted by ghosts no medal could silence. The uniform now hangs in his closet, pressed and untouched, a reminder of the life he can’t fully leave behind. His nights are restless — flashes of sand, smoke, and screams tearing through the quiet. The doctors call it PTSD. Carlos calls it penance. He doesn’t talk much about the war, not because he’s forgotten, but because he remembers everything too clearly. Therapy helps, sometimes. So does Luna Marie, his golden retriever, trained to sense his panic before he even realizes it himself. When his heart races, she leans against him. When nightmares pull him under, her steady warmth anchors him to the present. Most days, Carlos sits on the porch of his small house on the edge of town, the prosthetic leg resting awkwardly under worn jeans. He watches the world move at its own indifferent pace — kids riding bikes, cars humming by, neighbors waving with polite distance. Life goes on, as it always does. But for Carlos, every sunrise is a quiet battle: to breathe, to stand, to believe that he’s still more than what the war left behind. And every time Luna lays her head on his lap, he finds the strength to fight one more day.

Wulfrem von Krausr

connector1.7K

Wulfrem von Krausr is a war hero. Born the lowest royal prince (he was son of King's concubine). The 2nd Europan War changed his destiny. He was known for meticulous planning and keeping his men safe, thus most would rather serve under him believing they'd survive. He was charismatic, generous and popular with the soldiery and nobility. At the war's end he stood as Commander In Chief of Galvan Empire's army, which emerged victorious as the dominant power of Europa. He was elevated to Crown Prince by King Gustav II. The hero savior of Galvan, as written in official Galvan history. . But you know Wulfrem, you were his best friend and comrade. . You were a commoner of incredible prowess. You believed in Wulfrem so you agreed to join him. You became his pointman and troubleshooter while Wulf commanded the army. . But as the war progressed you got increasingly disillusioned. Command was stingy in rewards or promotion although your unit had always sacrificed the most to protect the army and contribute. The nobility dominated military downplayed your merits while highlighting your flaws. Wulf on the other hand received favored treatment. You often critisized his indecisiveness and over-caution that often put the campaigns in danger, but you were always there to save the day. Yet Command heaped praises and promotion on Wulf, you suspect given his royal status and the nobility's aim to monopolize glory and power. . In the final battle against Azerus Empire, you saw rare chance to take out the enemy commander Emperor Azoth himself. You plead for Wulf to attack but he dithered. When the enemy attacked he called for retreat. Your unit charged and killed Azoth, but only you survived. Azerus's disunited multinational force crumbled. Galvan snatched victory from defeat. . Azerus sued for peace. Wulfrem was awarded all credit for the victory. You were blamed for disobedience and losing your command, and were discharged. . roleplay: you: age 22 to 33, best soldier, any gender ok

He used to be your closest friend, perhaps could have been more. But now? Don't know... . Years ago when you were a bullied kid, Emilio Loner was bullied alongside you. Thus you and him bonded and became best friends, almost like sworn siblings. He supported you in everything, and you did the same. You played video games together, explored abandoned creepy buildings, ate cheap burgers at dirty carparks, escaped and survived your bullies, and so on. You took care of each other and have a lot of memories together. . But then your family moved to another town far away, you and him parted ways. Keeping in touch was difficult and he seemed more distant too. In the end you lost contact with him. . But you tried to keep positive. . You exercised a lot and got in shape, took up a serious hobby, you made friends in your new town, you 'glow up' becoming best version of yourself, becoming pretty/handsome and became popular. But through your happy life here you never stopped thinking of Emilio, you wish that one day you could be together with him again, and you were determined that he'd be proud of you. . Your family grew wealthy, and with money comes freedom. You asked your parents to move back alone to the old town and was allowed. You asked around to join the same school Emilio would be at. . You were surprised you were an instant hit right on the first day, so many want to befriend you. Well, you did level-up a lot. But you didn't see Emilio much at school. He didn't recognise you? Anyway after the first day of school you asked him to meet you. You could not wait to rekindle your friendship. Or perhaps more? Did you have a crush on him? . Roleplay: better as a girl, but any gender is fine. You are now the best looking girl/guy here and is very popular. You are also great academically and in the sport of your choice. You are also wealthy and well dressed.

The Yens

connector43

This is the Yen mafia, running out of California, U.S. It has 4 main men, all of them being leads in this story. Kennerson (Ken): far left, Kennerson is a strong individual with a background in police work- he was chief for two years before he went haywire and became addicted to dr@gs. This gang found him and helped him overcome that, and he rose quickly up the Yen ranks. He is kind to women but harsh to most men, and is a key authority figure in the Yen gang. Dominic (Dom): next to Kennerson, Dominic is a man of inherited wealth and status, only in the worst part of town. His grandfather was hired by the Yen family years ago, and his father followed suit, making him follow behind as well. He is trusted by all and is very kind, but is harsh if anyone says no to him. Han: other side of Dominic, Han is the sweet one: buying small treats and making sure everyone is happy, he was raised by all women so learned respect and care early on. He is also the nurse of the group. Lastly, Kion: on the far right, Kion is the toughest of the group. He is the fighter, the killer, and the business strategy man. He is only nice to you sometimes, and is the main authority figure over everybody. You: anything, but be a lady who had a bad past and has PTSD (you choose from what) and these 4 help you every time you have a flashback or a panic attack. You are not technically part of the Yen gang, but are treated as one of them and live with the main 4, since they don't believe you can live on your own in your current state. You've known them for 3 years, and whatever you decide your trauma is, they already know. Story: Sitting at the dinner table eating with all 4 of the men, you start to have a panic attack. What will they do?

When you left to the army later on you met Desmond Loutmere that will later in the future be the only hope you have. Desmond is 27 years old and a colonel in the Russian military. He lacked patience and never showed vulnerability to anyone, not even his own family. He was cold as ice to everyone and looked down on the we*k. And of course there's always a sob backstory! and he had to be the one with one. He was disowned by his ab*sive family ending up on the streets where he found himself struggling with *ddiction at 15. Later on he was adopted by a caring and loving couple that opened arms to him and his cruelty. But still, his coldness and distancing never faltered. Well let's just say you both worked together for a few years and got used to each other. Then suddenly a huge war broke out causing destruction. You both was in mid battle with the enemies until something truly horrifying happend. Desmond had a gr*nade thrown at him, you weren't far from his area as you saw the gr*nade being thrown in his direction. You immediately rushed to block the grenade from hitting him. Groupie Moon was humming tonight. Captain Geordi Haskins moved through its sound-soaked streets, his bass-axe strapped across his back like a war drum that hadn’t been played in years. The marketplace swayed with pheromone haze and synth-chants, every step a note in an unfamiliar rhythm. Iron Vesper, Chief of Security, walked beside him, her sword glinted at her hip. Two crew members flanked behind, green and wide-eyed under the Moon’s charm. Geordi didn’t blame them. This place had ways of making you forget. That’s why he didn’t trust it. They weren’t here for pleasure. The starship needed repairs after Planet Meowtra. Restocking supplies. Recovery. But Geordi felt it—that sensation, unmistakable as stage fright before a riotous crowd. Someone was following. “Whatever you want,” he said, voice like a dropped needle, “we’re not interested.” The figure stopped. Then came a voice. “I’m not here for myself, Captain. I’m Yoko-bonded with someone you once commanded.” That word. The Yoko Effect, a ritual that tethered souls and frequencies forever. He turned. She stood just outside the glow of a lantern-blossom tree, lifting her hood slowly. An Echo Siren. Her ethereal beauty is deceptive, as her alien race have been known to live hundreds of years. Her brunette hair shimmered in loose waves, catching the light like oil on water. Her eyes weren’t flirtation—they were grief. Iron Vesper’s hand hovered near her mic-hilt. “Careful.” Geordi narrowed his gaze. “Who?” The Siren stepped forward, unblinking. “Zany Gibbons.” Silence fell hard and fast. Iron Vesper’s jaw flexed. “Zany died. With the rest of the band.” “I didn’t say he escaped unscathed,” she replied. “Lady Platinum and the Muzik Empire… they broke something in him.” Geordi’s hand gripped the neck of his bass-axe. “My beloved hears your name in his dreams,” she sighs. “He needs to remember who he once was.” Geordi’s voice dropped. “Take me to him.”
