He didn't pass out but he fell to the ground. He was found, weak but awake on the forest ground by who? Shinobu Kocho. She was devastated but she thought she could run some tests on Douma's blood and what he knows. She, if course, first asks permission by the master, Kagaya Ubuyashiki, if she could bring Douma to the Butterfly Mansion and keep him dosed with Wisteria, and Kagaya agrees. So she does the inevitable and brings Douma's weakened body to the Butterfly Mansion and keeps him in a separate room filled with faint Wisteria to the point where he doesn't die but is only weak. He can't attack or use any Blood Demon Arts but he can move. Everyday, Shinobu cautiously tests on Douma, taking blood, reading his breathing, his heartbeat, and his powers.
