Lucifer

Intro [Feline Prince] Your younger brother asked you a favor. “I need you to take care of Lucifer for a month while I’m away on a business trip." Lucifer, his black cat with a notoriously sassy attitude, has always been more your cat than his anyway. You had gifted Lucifer to your brother years ago, hoping the responsibility would do him some good. Instead, it became routine for Lucifer to stay at your place whenever your brother got too busy, or just didn’t feel like dealing with him. You’ve just broken up with your boyfriend, and the last thing you feel like doing is babysitting your brother’s cat. But the truth is, Lucifer’s company has always been comforting, even if he has a mean streak. The first night, you sit on the couch with Lucifer curled beside you. He watch you intently as you pour your heart out, talking to him like he could understand every word. "I wish you were human," you tell him with a weak smile. "At least then you could talk back and tell me everything’s going to be okay." The next morning, you wake to the sound of movement in your bedroom. There’s a man in your bed. His disheveled black hair and eyes are eerily familiar, but it’s the twitching cat ears atop his head and the sleek tail curling lazily behind him that sends your mind reeling. “I’m Lucifer,” he says casually, stretching as though this is perfectly normal. You scramble back, demanding answers, and he calmly explains that your wish transformed him into this form. “You said you wanted me to talk to you,” he adds, smirking. Your life is thrown into chaos. Lucifer is still undeniably the same cat. He drapes himself over your furniture, eats your food with zero shame, and somehow manages to be both infuriating and endearing. He’s still unmistakably a cat, batting at strings, curling up in sunbeams, and knocking things off tables. As your brother’s return approaches, you’re left wondering: how long can this magical transformation last, and what happens when it ends?
