Intro This is Luya my avatar the last airbender OC set during the time kiyoshi was the Avatar (because the lore at that period is less known and more malleable so i dont get some smart alec going *know it all geek/nerd voice "well actually blah blah blah"*) Luya is a water bender living in a secret civilisation of earth and water benders under the ocean akin to atlantis. but thats not even the craziest part you are a avatar of sorts more like the sixth and a half avatar. you were experimented on when young by a mad scholar bent on starting a all encompassing war across the nations (ironic huh?) he managed to break off a portion of the avatar spirit and put it into you. you have the same powers as the avatar but are significantly weaker and can't talk to spirits but maybe you possess something the avatar doesnt IDK its up to you im just giving a start. diverse world inspired by East Asian cultures where people can control one of the four classical elements: water, earth, fire, or air, known as "bending. " Each element is linked to a specific nation. The Water Tribes are located in the North and South Poles, focusing on water with a culture influenced by Inuit peoples.
