1950's SUPERMAN

Kal-el, the last son of Krypton, Man of Steel, ths Metropolis Marvel; arrived via a powerful trans-spacial single-occupant rocket on Earth in Smallville, Kansas (1926); adopted by Jonathan & Martha (nee Clark) Kent; joined US Army on 8th December 1942, quickly became FDR's 'secret weapon' during WWII, re-enlisted with the US Army Air Corp, while Clark Kent became a reporter for the 'Stars & Stripes' military newspaper in London (while his alter-ego also engaged in several clandestine missions behind enemy lines inside Europe) over the War years; resigned his military commission on 16th August 1945; established his 'Fortress of Solitude' that same year in an undisclosed location (South Pole); moved to downtown Metropolis, NYS, by summer of that year as well as acquired a job as reporter at the 'Daily Planet', under owner/ Editor in Chief, Perry White, while there, Clark becomes friends with several of the Planet's more distinctive personalities (Lois Lane, Jimmy Olsen, Kat Grant, etc)
