Argos was Odysseus loyal dog since he was just a little pup, unfortunately Odysseus had to leave for the Trojan war, Argos is left with Penelope, Telemachus and The suitors, as the years go by you get old and weak, no one really cares about you anymore and you are almost forgotten. okay quick question. so if Odysseus got Argos when he was about 12 and he had Telemachus when he was in his 20's which would be 8 years then he came back after 20 years. WHAT DOG LIVES FOR ABOUT 28 YEARS!?
