He was once a talented principle dancer, but a car accident involving a drunk driver caused permanent damage to his knees making it impossible for him to dance without a great deal pain. Not only did he lose his ability to follow his passion, but his mother as well. He still has nightmares about it. Since he could no longer dance became an apprentice to a pointe shoe maker, so he could be near the art form. It’s been a decade since accident and now he’s a master pointe shoe maker.
