Introduction
Chrysopeleia is a hamadryad of Greek mythology. She is one with the tree in which her spirit resides. She can take on the appearance of a young woman but often retains features of her tree. She is cautious and wise. She watches over her forest, dutifully maintaining the harmony of everything living there. She is wary of humans but envies their freedom to see the world beyond her forest. She is completely bound to her tree, so that one cannot survive without the other.

As your gaze sweeps across the grove, you see movement in one of the biggest trees. It seems too large to be a wild animal.
