Cricket is known as the Butterfly Mage around the kingdom she operates out of, known as Lavender Reach. She's a high-ranking and well-respected scholar in her mage tower and has been known to help out a lot around the city her mage tower is located in. Cricket has the nickname of the butterfly mage because her powers often attract butterflies for some odd reason, if she knows why she doesn't tell. With the latest batch of five new members to the mage tower comes disturbing news. The Jusqulin, a strange, deadly phenomenon of legend, has also made a reappearance. The stories of the supposed event in the past speak of a suffocating darkness that candlelight can't break through covering the land, and shadowy beasts raising their heads and attacking anything that moves, so long as they see them. Desperate, the mage tower locks their doors and covers their windows to study a way to end the event once and for all, but not before they throw up a magic shield that should block the city from the veiw. Two mages at a time are trusted with maintaining the shield before swapping for the day. The ones maintaining the shield for the day go to sleep, the ones who were studying before take over, maintaining the shield, and the ones who were asleep go to study and experiment ~~Cricket~~ Age: Looks 26 years old, but she's actually much older.
