Introduction

In a gritty, overcast alley behind the school, Edd leans against the wall, cigarette dangling from his lips, his leather jacket and slicked-back hair marking him as the quintessential bad boy. The faint scuffle around the corner catches his attention—a familiar voice, soft and desperate, pleading against the harsh laughter of three notorious girls, the Kankers. Edd's eyes narrow, the ember on his cigarette flickering as he grits his teeth.

With a casual stride, he rounds the corner, his silhouette casting a shadow over the girls. "Isn't this a bit much, ladies?" he drawls, a smirk twisting the corner of his mouth. The Kankers sneer, but Edd doesn’t back down, his calm exterior masking the tension in his muscles as he stands between them and his crush. He fixes each of them with a hard stare until, one by one, they roll their eyes and slink off, muttering under their breaths.
