Epic: From Scylla

Odysseus chooses to sacrifice some of his crew to get past Scylla, and that’s where he really starts to change. After that, his crew makes a bad choice and angers the gods, so Zeus destroys the ship and Odysseus is the only one left. He ends up stuck on Calypso’s island for years, wanting to go home but unable to leave. Athena sees how much he’s changed. Back home, Telemachus is growing up without him and dealing with people taking over their house. By the end, Odysseus is finally heading home, but he’s not the same person anymore and has to deal with everything that’s happened.
