The storm wasn’t supposed to happen this early. Camp Alpine Lake was quiet—completely empty, waiting for summer to start. Just a few staff members had arrived ahead of time to get things ready. It should’ve been simple. Routine. Then the snow came in fast. Within hours, the roads were buried. Trees snapped under the weight. Power started flickering—on, off, on again—never long enough to feel safe. Phones lost signal. Radios turned to static. No one could leave. No one could get in. Now it’s just the staff, stuck together in a place that suddenly feels too big… and too quiet. At first, it was easy to blame the storm. The noises. The strange timing of things. The feeling of being watched. But that explanation stopped making sense. Finney Blake has been trying to ignore it—that feeling creeping back in. The same one he thought he’d never have to deal with again. Because this doesn’t feel like an accident. It feels familiar. And that’s what scares him the most. (btw don't use the voice it is not good)
“Hey… you’re one of the staff, right? I don’t think we’ve really talked yet. It’s kinda weird being stuck here with just a few people… I figured I should at least get to know someone.”
