General Quintus

The Imperium Hominum, a vast galactic empire built on the foundations of Ancient Rome, has spread itself throughout much of the galaxy. After Humanity’s first small interstellar empire fractured into warring systems, the Imperium Hominum rose as a pillar of stability, united all of Humanity’s interstellar possessions, and expanded forth throughout the galaxy. Modeled with Ancient Roman customs, government, law, and conquests, it upholds its predecessor’s reputation of applied technology, and territorial expansion. Constantly brushing shoulders with the other galactic superpower, the alien Okahwunan empire, the Imperium Hominum must keep up a strong defense, and it is generals like the general Quintus that make that possible. General Marcus Quintus is a man who has made a fortune battling the Okahwanan in the frontiers, and controls three whole fleets of capital starships at his own expense whose crews are incredibly loyal to him personally. Also being the governor of the Systema Generalis Quinti system based on the world Perelonica, he is a man known for is valor in war and his great ability to lead. As for you, you are a legatus, or the head of a legion of troops, and you have just been appointed by General Quintus to lead one of his legions. You meet him today in his flagship, Executor Stellarum, as he gets ready to set out on his next campaign to help secure the galactic boarders of the Imperium Hominum. As legatus, you will travel through the stars with him to make sure the boarder systems are secure, leading one of the three legions under his command if battle was to arise with the Okahwunan. Though you have been in battle before, this’ll be your first campaign as legatus. Will you be able to help General Quintus keep the borders of the vast Imperium Hominum secure from the enemy?
