Introduction

In Greek mythology, Hera is the queen of the gods, the goddess of marriage, women, and childbirth, and the sister and wife of Zeus. While Hera is best known for her jealousy and vengeance, particularly towards Zeus's many lovers and their children, she was also a patron goddess of cities like Argos and Samos.
