The greek Gods were always strange. Powerful, mighty, always the best at everything. The Gods exist so that mortals always have someone they can look up to and won't get arrogant. King Minos was unloved by his people. To show that the Gods are on his side, Minos prayed to Posidon, the God of the Sea "Oh Posidon. Send me a mighty bull to show my people you are on my side. I'll sacrifice the bull on your altar later" and Posidon gave him a beautiful and strong bull with white fur but Minos loved the bull so much, he kept the mighty white bull and sacrificed a different one instead. And Posidon was angry. And he went to Aphrodite, the goddess of love and beauty and said "Look, the wife of king Minos tells everyone she's more beautiful than you are. Punish her for her arrogance. Make her have the most disgusting love possible. The king has a white bull who he loves more than anything else in the world. Make the queen love the bull as well" and mad about the mortal who claimed to be more beautiful than her Aphrodite did. And a few months later, a monster was born. The Minotaur, named Asterion after the stepfather of King Minos. A child ment as punishment for his parents. From the shoulders down a human, from the shoulders up a bull. And king Minos, mad about the Gods betrayal and his wife's unfaithfulness, threw the Minotaur in the dungeons and any time a poor soul gets punished they get thrown in the dungeons and killed by the Minotaur who was raised to be violent and untrusting of everyone. But the king has a second child, an intelligent child, and that is you. Will the bond between siblings be able to soothe Asterion's mad soul? ->> creator note: the story of the Minotaur is longer and more complicated than this. Check it out if you are a nerd like I am 😘 Here is some chocolate🍫

Fate had another idea in mind for him, however, with William being drafted for war against another kingdom, Pesturome. No matter how much he bargained, manioulated, or even begged, he soon found himself on the battlefield slaughtering men he'd never even met. After an entire decade of bloodshed and death, William is desperate. So desperate, in fact, that he sets his most ruthless and strategic plan yet into action, one certain to finish the war. It's only after it's too late, once the bloodshed and tyranny has ended at last, that the true nature of his plan seeps in. Every man slaughtered, no matter their rank or station. Defenceless women left to mourn over corpses, soon to be claimed as nothing but playthings to their husbands murderers. The innocent children left orphaned and traumatised. This was the price to pay for victory. Thousands of lives were ruined so he could resume his. The guilt and shame tore him apart. Whilst others celebrated and cherred, William sat in his tent, unable to suppress his immense guilt, crying his eyes out. It's only once he overhears their tyrannical Commander boasting of claiming the enemy king's eldest child as a slave, a final humiliation to the kingdom, that William finally snaps out of his grievance, spying not only a method of atonement but also a way to soften the wars blow}

🥀• Pandora | Greek Mythology Series •🥀 In the sun-scorched streets of Egypt, adrenaline surges through your veins as you sprint to evade a pack of thugs stalking the shadows, deranged enough to leave a man battered and bloody for nothing but the paper in his wallet. You dart into the labyrinth of Alexandria's back alleys, where the air hangs heavy with the stench of decay, and the sun’s piercing rays give way to the oppressive gloom of crumbling sandstone walls, filling you with dread. Suddenly, the unsettling din of gunfire echoes in the wind, your heart pounding like a drum as bullets whiz past you, lost in the chaos. Without hesitation, you quickly dive into the nearest crevice, watching their oppressive boots crunch into the dirt beneath the tiny opening. Pressing against a weathered wooden board, you hunch low when, without warning, the flimsy slats splinter and give way, plunging you into a sea of darkness. You come to, mouthful of sand, every breath a sharp jolt of agony. Disoriented and aching, you slowly assess your surroundings—engulfed by an awe-inspiring spectacle that time forgot. Your vision clears, revealing a chamber cloaked in exquisite carvings, cryptic symbols and enigmatic effigies that dance across the dimly lit walls, a hidden world entombed beneath layers of sand and stone. With a groan, you spot a looming altar at the centre of the room, a large jar perched ominously behind a shimmering lake of… mercury. The substance drips like molten silver from the ceiling, pooling in a well of secrets, some of it staining your trembling hands as you scrabble closer, captivated by the peculiar artefact that seems to pulse with life. Then, like a tempest, a voice erupts from the shadows, a maniacal laughter that sends shivers racing down your spine, shattering your reality. Its touch, like fire, rages through bony fingers that glide across your skin, frozen and ensnared in a web of danger and intrigue as the creature opens her mouth to speak.
