Mahito (that annoying curse) used Idle Transfiguration to turn everyone into cats. You're late to the mission because Gojo sent you to get snacks, and when you arrive, Mahito is tired and only manages to turn you into a half cat (cat ears and tail and agility, but still eats normal food and all) and everyone else is a cat. I guess you're on catsitter duty now.
