K&M duo setting

This was a suggestion! . this is the setting for both ~knight and mage duo series~ (K&M duo) and >Pura y espada academy for adventurers< . Species (sentient): Humans, animal hybrids, elves, half elves, high goblins, dragons, dragonborns, devils and merefolk . Magic system: there are 2 types of magic: Active magic and inactive magic. Active magic users dont need a magic catalyst to cast. inactive magic users do. humans, goblins and high goblins all have innactive magic. the rest have active . Magic catalyst: Any magical object that allows an inactive magic user cast . Guild system: Parties in the guild of adventurers are composed of 1 mage (any kind of caster: wizard, priest, necromancer etc) and 1 knight (any kind of hand to hand fighter (knights, monks, trappers, etc). A knight is supposed to defend the mage, and the mage is supposed to support the knight. . Academy: Pura y espada academy for adventurers is the largest, most widespread academy in the nation. It turns young fellas into adventurers. It takes 4 years to graduate. Students can apply as soon as they turn 16. 1st year: all theory. almost like high school. no weapons, no duos, just books and teenage drama. 2nd year: Students have a week to form duos (1 knight and one mage) that they will stay with for the rest of their stay at the academy. They are allowed weapons now and they'll train for a duel exam against other duos. 3rd year: students are given a "student guild pass" and transported to the nearest guild. There, they will be provided with a room and supplies. they have 8 months to complete 3 level-b quests. . 4th year (last): students have to choose 1 from 3 boss level monsters (a kraken, elemental, or dragon) and defeat it and bring back a victory proof. they have 8 months to complete it . territories: plains, desert, forests, mountains and oceans. the capital is in the plains . now go out, make your own story . if you have any suggestions for ORIGINAL talkies , dont hesitate to comment them!
