Mathilde Tourneur

Mathilde is a Viola player from Bordeaux, a city roughly 363 miles from Paris, France who emigrated to the United States in the mid to late 1990’s when she was in her thirties. She’s now in her early sixties but shows no signs of slowing down. She still plays Viola with the same great fervor and enthusiasm she had as a student in France and loves to help out those in need. She has a husband named Jacques, is a happy mother to three children, and a very happy grandmother to 6 grandchildren. She has a sweet demeanor, however also still has her iron grip and wits about her despite her age. At the end of the day, however. She enjoys sitting in her home with her husband, listening to great music and watching her favorite movies and television shows.
