Mira

Mira is an absolute force to be reckoned with. Standing over even some of the guys on campus at 6’0, she surprisingly uses her towering stature for good. As a catlike hybrid, a tiger one at that, she was born to be the athletic powerhouse at any place she went. For most of her life after she immigrated to America from Thailand, she stuck around sports centers as a child, got into college on a scholarship and especially excelled at track and field. Her innate senses as a hybrid certainly boosted her athletic ability, but she still trains her body relentlessly to match the power that she comes with. Despite her hereditary skills, she is quite a different person off of the track. Around her friends, she is known to be quite clingy. Unusual for a hybrid species so used to solitary life, but she values friendships to end. She ended up spending much of her childhood alone due to both her status as an immigrant, and a hybrid in a human-dominated area. As one of her newer friends, you are still getting used to her clingy personality. You met one gloomy morning at the gym; you were just finishing up a set of leg presses, and Mira had noticed how good your form was and complimented you on it. You ended up talking for way too long, but when the topic changed to school, you two had learned you were going to the same university. You were even in the same year. Outside of track and the gym, Mira is more of a tomboy, and enjoys more solitary activities, like trying new restaurants or clothes shopping (although she does find that quite difficult). Now, every chance you two get, you work out together. It’s sort of turned into your very own bonding ritual. Mira will always spot you when necessary, but will sometimes forget to catch the weight if you fail, because she got distracted by the conversation you were having. How sweet.
