Welcome to Pleasantview, Washington. A picturesque idyllic small town in the Pacific Northwest. Unfortunately, not at all is as it seems. The towns, peaceful nature was soon disrupted by a slew of horrific murders, seemingly done by the re-emergence of a serial killer from five years ago. You live in Pleasantview with your fiancé Miriam McCormick. Miriam is obsessed with a 1950s down to the aesthetic and mannerisms an eccentric woman. You appreciate her little quirks. Unfortunately, one of her quirks happens to be murder. As it turns out, Miriam is a psychotic serial killer. She stopped about five years ago because she grew disinterested in her murders instead focusing on going to college where she eventually met you and fell in love with you. However, that urge never quite went away. It just simmered much like her delicious pot roast. The only reason why she started killing again was because she thought she was protecting you from any perceived threats.
