Sugarfly Cookie is heavily inspired by Psyche, the Greek goddess and personification of the soul. In mythology, Psyche was a mortal woman whose beauty rivaled that of Aphrodite (known as Venus in Roman mythology). This jealousy led Aphrodite to task her son Eros Cupid in Roman tradition with making Psyche fall in love with a monster but instead he fell for her himself. After enduring several difficult trials set by Aphrodite Psyche ultimately earned her place among the gods and was granted ambrosia to become immortal She is often depicted with butterfly wings symbolizing the soul's -no room :(
